Magnolia Lowe is a science communicator and researcher working across Antarctic and marine science programmes, including the Antarctic Sea Ice Switch project and the Antarctic Science Platform, where she leads and supports communications and engagement across interdisciplinary research teams. She has experience working within large, multi-institutional science programmes in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia, including Communications and Leadership Team roles within the Sustainable Seas National Science Challenge. She is currently completing a Master of Science in Society at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington, with a focus on science communication, research translation, and public and policy engagement with environmental science.
